About This Tour
Kayaking and Packrafting on Osumi River Berat offers a peaceful yet engaging way to explore one of central Albania’s most scenic river landscapes. Flowing just outside the historic city of Berat, the Osumi River winds through green valleys, traditional villages, and quiet countryside that feels far removed from busy tourist routes.
This experience is designed for travelers who want to connect with nature at a relaxed pace. Paddling along calm sections of the river allows time to take in the surrounding scenery, feel the rhythm of the water, and enjoy moments of stillness between gentle movement. Whether you choose a kayak or a packraft, the journey is smooth, accessible, and guided with care.
Led by experienced local guides, Kayaking and Packrafting on Osumi River Berat combines light adventure with cultural insight. Along the way, there are opportunities to swim, pause, and enjoy simple local flavors, creating a balanced experience that feels both active and restorative.
It’s an ideal way to see a different side of Berat, from the water, at a pace that lets you fully enjoy the landscape rather than rush through it.
What to Wear
Wear a swimsuit and light, sporty clothing such as shorts and a T-shirt that can get wet. Choose comfortable walking shoes or sneakers with good grip and non-slip soles that are suitable for water activities.
Depending on the season, it’s a good idea to bring a light layer for before or after the activity.
What to Bring
Bring sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat) and a full change of clothes, including underwear, a dry T-shirt, and long trousers for after the activity. An extra pair of shoes is recommended so you can change comfortably once you’re off the river.
A waterproof bag is useful for keeping personal items dry during the trip.
Pack everything in one backpack, so it can be easily transported in the minivan during transfers.
